Background and Overview

The original company was started in 1960 by founder JL Meintjes. Since then it has grown, from a small Transport business, into a highly successful Plant Hire, Civil & Bulk Earthworks operation. The company was headed by Toy Meintjes from 1981 until 2004. Since then Wikus and Theo has been at the helm of Meintjes Plant Hire and Earthworks.
The Company employs close to 60 employees and has an ever expanding fleet of more than 50 Vehicles and Equipment. The business is based in Kya Sands, Randburg just north of Johannesburg.
